Bobby Elder - Owner & Lead Business Advisor

I’m Bobby Elder, founder and lead advisor of ValueLegacy Advisory.


My work brings together business value growth, exit planning, business development, coaching, counseling, leadership development, and owner-centered advisory support. As a Certified Value Builder and Accredited Value Guide, I help owners understand and improve the key drivers that make a business more valuable, scalable, transferable, and less dependent on the owner.


As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, I use the Value Acceleration Methodology to help owners clarify exit options, close value gaps, reduce risk, and prepare for a meaningful future sale, succession, or transition — whether they are preparing for an exit soon or simply want to be ready when the time is right. My background in business advisory work, counseling, coaching, spiritual formation, and nonprofit leadership gives me a unique lens for walking with owners through both the strategic and personal realities of ownership.


Because business ownership is never merely financial. It is personal. It affects identity, family, marriage, purpose, energy, leadership, and the owner’s sense of what comes next.
